Alternative ADHD Treatments
Exercise is not only a great way to stay active, it may also help your focus. The brain chemicals dopamine, serotonin and norepinephrine are boosted during physical activity, which may affect focus and attention. Some of the best activities for ADHD patients are those that focus on complex body movement — such as dance, gymnastics, martial arts and skateboarding. Team sports are good too because the social aspect is engaging. Yoga and meditation may also help manage symptoms because they can help those with ADHD relax and learn discipline.
