9 Easy Stretches to Relieve Back Pain
This simple stretch can relieve tension in your lower back and buttocks.
Start: Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet on the floor, like you’re about to do sit-ups.
- Pull one knee up toward your chest with both of your hands, and hold it there for 15 to 20 seconds.
- Return to the starting position.
- Repeat with the opposite leg.
- Return to start.
- Repeat, holding both legs at your chest this time.
- Do each stretch two to three times.
