Dean Martin was an American singer, actor, television star, and comedian, but he was perhaps best known for being a member of the legendary “Rat Pack.” Martin was diagnosed with emphysema in his early 70s, after smoking cigarettes for much of his life. He passed away in 1995 at the age of 78.
