10 Celebrities with Multiple Sclerosis

Ann Romney

Ann Romney, wife of 2008 Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1998. Despite her severe symptoms, she played an important role in her husband’s presidential campaign. To ease her symptoms, Romney uses hippotherapy, a therapeutic physical treatment involving horse-riding. Hippotherapy is used for a range of disorders, including MS, autism, brain injury, strokes, and other neurological disorders. For more information about MS treatments, talk to your doctor.
