(RxWiki News) As children return to school across the United States, it's likely that many of their parents are packing Kraft Singles cheeses in their lunch boxes. But, parents take note — thousands of cases of Kraft Singles have been recalled.
Kraft Foods is recalling nearly 7,700 cases of Kraft American Singles.
According to the company, a supplier did not store an ingredient within Kraft's temperature standards.
"Return recalled products to the store where you purchased them."
A Kraft press release stated that the improper storage temperature could create conditions that lead to food borne illness or that cause the cheese to spoil early. However, the company noted that such issues are unlikely to arise.
Kraft has received no complaints of illness related to this recall.
