Coping with Overactive Bladder

Exercises

Kegel exercises, which work the pelvic floor muscles, may help with bladder control. Strengthening these muscles can also help stop involuntary contractions in the bladder over time. It may take between 6 and 8 weeks to notice changes, however, so it’s important to stay vigilant. Maintaining a healthy weight can also help manage the symptoms of OAB. Talk to your doctor about the right exercises for you.
